My name is Marcus Lee, I’m a filmmaker from Bradford, West Yorkshire. I started filmmaking in 2003 with a borrowed camcorder and several ideas for short films that I made with friends before YouTube was a big deal!

In 2007 I set up Reel Street Productions, a film production company that has enabled me to produced three feature films, a number of web series and several short films.

There are many things I love about directing, but one of the main things is that you are bringing an idea to life in a visual medium that lots of people will be able to enjoy. I love that you are able to work with a team of creatives to tell a story through pictures, words, light, sound and emotion. I hope to continue to tell my own stories as well as collaborate with other storytellers and filmmakers for as long as I am able to!
